Missions Celebration Big Valley Grace -- 2006

-- Pope John Paul II died today at 9:37 p.m. in his private apartment, at the age of 84.
Monday, April 4, 2005
-- Went
to court today. Court orders changed, allowing Benjamin and Dara to
live with me now. Praise God! I picked up Benjamin at his school today,
according to the court orders.
Friday-Sunday, April 8-10, 2005
-- Friday,
there was a funnel cloud moving around Manteca and Ripon, only about
15-20 miles from where we live!! Saturday, Dara, Ben and daddy went
swimming. We went to Big Valley Grace church for the Saturday
Celebration service. Benny earned another 20 Bible Bucks. He has 180
Bible Bucks now! Sunday, made lots of French toast, then made
spaghetti. Talked with uncle John. He told me that cousin Jim has an
African turtle that eats baby mice! Dan is getting married in October.
Monday-Wednesday, April 11-13, 2005
-- Monday,
listened to our favorite radio program, Odyssey. The boys played with
Ben's dominoes. Tuesday, watched the film Triumph of the Will, about
Adolph Hitler, made in 1934, directed by Leni Riefenstahl. Wednesday,
Dara and Ben played basketball next door at St. Joseph's. Went home and
listened to Odyssey.
Friday-Saturday, April 15-16, 2005
-- Friday,
Dara went to a barbeque at his school. He had a good time and the food
was great! Saturday, Benny's friend Tyler brought a movie over and they
watched the movie together. Spoke with mother. She met a young man on
the bus who attends Hinson Memorial Baptist Church in Portland. She
told me that we were baptised together when I was eleven years old.
Today was very warm, around 90 degrees. Benny, Dara and daddy went to
church at Big Valley. Dara spoke with their cousin Samantha. Watched
Spy Kids 2.
Sunday, April 17, 2005
-- Tim's
sister died at the age of 61 yesterday. Spoke with Samantha. Benny also
got to talk to her. Benny's friend Tyler came over and they played
video games.
Monday-Thursday, April 18-21, 2005
-- Monday,
the boys have been living with me for three weeks now. Benny is
adjusting to the new living situation quite well. I took the boys to
their aerobics class at InShape. We listened to Odyssey. Wednesday,
temperature was chilly, in the low 40s. Warmed up to the 80s by
afternoon. Thursday, noticed strange fog formations in the fields as I
was driving on highway 99.
Sunday, April 24, 2005
-- Did
some cleaning. Waiting for Tim. The boys went riding bikes. Then they
plaed Ugio, watched movies, and played video games. Tim didn't make it
today.
Saturday, April 30, 2005
-- Dara,
Ben and daddy went swimming. Then went to Wal-Mart. The three of us
went to church at Big Valley. After church, went to Tim's house.
